fern · Antwerp's 15-year-old coke runners

sample · UNAFFILIATED · Jessie craft demo. A 54-second Short re-cut from fern's 22-minute documentary on Europe's cocaine trade, built story-first: Johnny, 15, is recruited as a 'uithaler' (coke runner) at the Port of Antwerp, the job is laid out in three word-synced steps, then the stakes land with the 44-ton seizure stat and 'one wrong move and it's game over'. The opening card names the place and the stakes in the first second. The 2.35:1 cinema footage is reframed for 9:16 per shot: tall bands with gentle pans for faces, fitted bands for maps and data graphics so fern's own on-screen text stays whole. Sponsor reads are removed, narration cuts are snapped to natural pauses, word-follow captions are checked against the audio, the grade is a light premium cool/warm balance, and loudness sits at -14 LUFS. Not affiliated with or commissioned by fern; original footage © fern. Still learning, with unlimited revisions.
